- Airfare to Nelspruit and from Cape Town, South Africa
What are the passport and VISA requirements?
A passport is required. US and Canadian residents do not need a visa to enter South Africa. In order to enter South Africa, you must have two blank pages facing one another in your passport. If you have traveled often and do not have two pages left that face one another, you must acquire a new passport. If you already have a passport, please ensure the passport does not expire for at least six months from the start of travel. If you are not carrying a US or Canadian passport, please contact us.
When will I receive more detailed information about our 360° Family Tour?
After you reserve your 360° Family Tour, you will receive a welcome package which includes a daily itinerary, detailed information about arrival and departure, a packing list, and an optional travel protection plan.
What vaccinations do you recommend?
We follow the guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control. The most up to date information can be viewed at www.cdc.gov. We recommend consulting your local physician.
How does my family get to our 360° Family Tour? How do we get to the airport at the trip's end?
In your welcome package, you will be given time parameters to arrive at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (Nelspruit) where you will be transferred to the Sabie Sun River Resort. At the trip's end, your family will be transported to the Cape Town International Airport.
Can I extend my stay?
Absolutely! We will do our best to help accommodate requests for additional nights before or after the trip departure at the hotels where we stay.
Do you recommend travel insurance?
Yes. Information about the optional medical, travel, trip cancellation and interruption insurance will be forwarded to you upon enrollment.
Can I participate in all of the activities?
This is a personal choice although certain activities including surfing and ATV riding have height restrictions.
What is the food like?
South African food is excellent! Traditional North American food will be available as well as "Braai" menus, which is Afrikaans for grilled meat.
Can you accommodate special diets?
Absolutely! We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, kosher style and other special dietary requests.
What is the bedding configuration in a hotel room?
Rooms can accommodate up to four people in two double beds. We will do our best to accommodate requests for adjacent rooms. There are no adjoining rooms.
What is time line for payment/cancellation policy?
All reservations require a $500 deposit per person and can be paid via check, money order, or credit card. Deposits and all payments are non-refundable. The trip balance is due 90 days prior to departure. All cancellations must be made in writing. Optional trip cancellation insurance is available.
